With the IPL fever on the peak, and with people over enthusiastically predicting the outcomes of all the matches, it might just get even tougher for players to form their fantasy team for their online cricket games/fantasy cricket like Pro Sports League. If deciding and choosing amongst top ranked players from all the teams was not tough enough, there’s another disappointment for these virtual players that they can not select few of their favorite players for the reason they went either surprisingly unsold or are not in good shape and fitness.

Here are top 5 players who went either unsold in this IPL T20 cricket auction 2018 or are injured severely –

1.Mitchell McClenaghan.

This 31-year-old New Zealand player was a head-turning & eyebrows-raising unpick of this season. The integral part of Mumbai Indians franchise for a very long time, McClenaghan might not have performed brilliantly in Big Bash League but he certainly has displayed some memorable performances in the IPL cricket matches in the past few seasons.

  1. Mitchell Starc
This 28-year-old Australian player keeps up the reputation of Australian cricket team perfectly. His lethal bowling style and unconventional skills can put any batsman to stress. Kolkata Knight Riders were smart to have him in their franchisee except that it backfired them as this talented bowler has been prone to injuries for a while now. Due to a tibial bone stress, this powerful player will not be a part of IPL this year.
  2. Hashim Amla
Hashish Amla, the former South Indian captain came across as a big surprise for his fans as he went unsold even at a base price of 1.5 cr. His outstanding performances in the past seasons of IPL cricket should have ensured his participation in Kings XI Punjab if not any other franchisee.
  3. Morne Markel
This South African player with impressive records in the past did not make it to any franchise this IPL season which came across as a surprise for many. With 300 wickets in his pocket from Test cricket and having won the Purple Cap in 2012 from Kolkata Knight Riders team, Morne Markel might have been underrated by the franchisees.
  4. Lasith Malinga
Lasith Malinga is one name known by all for his unorthodox and unpredictable bowling style. His fast-paced spins and lethal attacks were a pleasure to watch once upon a time. Though being an integral part of Mumbai Indians for a very long time, Lasith Malinga has been losing his touch since his ankle injury in 2015. His fitness issues have been a major concern in the Sri Lankan cricket team and it reflection was quite clear when he went unsold in IPL 2018 auctions.

For all players who are to play online IPL games like  Pro Sports League, this season might have a little difficulty in selecting their team as having many good players left out from the series, but the available players can act as good replacements if considered closely.
