BJP leader Sambit Patra was recently asked to leave the show at NDTV during the live TV discussion with Nidhi Razdan, Executive editor of NDTV. The BJP spokesperson made an accusation against the channel saying that it follows and agenda and does not allow him to present facts and figures, while the renowned journalist asked him to apologise before putting any argument further.

Here’s a quick look at the career path of BJP leader Sambit Patra

Known for his staunch views on television debates, Sambit Patra has been the official spokesperson of the party since the 2010. Sambit is represents the party in the state of Orissa, under the chairmanship of Amit Shah, which is why he seems to be the next prospective chief ministerial candidate for Orissa general election.
Sambit is another highly qualified politician with a barrage of degrees in the field of medical science.

He did Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Utkal University in 2002 and MBBS from VSS Medical College and Hospital, Burla, Sambalpur, Odisha in 1997.

He has also qualified the coveted UPSC Combined Medical Services in 2003 and worked as a Medical Officer for Hindu Rao Hospital, Delhi.

Leaving his job after 2010, Sambit made politics as his professional identity.

Although he wasn’t able to present himself well in the MCD elections, in which he lost from the BJP seat from Kashmere Gate, Delhi, he has been consistently fitting bills for a perfect spokesperson since 2010, when he was appointed as the spokesperson for Delhi unit of BJP.

He had been noticed only after the 2014 Lok Sabha election, during which he was seen campaigning extensively.
Using his knowledge in the field of medical science, he has been taking care of NGO Swaraj that brings doctors and policemen under one roof.
